Mario
Mario is actually two different artists: Mario is an R&B artist from the US. He began his career with the Biz Markie cover, "Just a Friend 2002", the lead single to his self-titled debut album, which went Gold without much critical praise. A few years later, he had a huge hit with the smooth, soft and silky Scott Storch-produced "Let Me Love You". It was one of the biggest songs of 2005, holding a 9 week run at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 over the summer. His sophomore album, "Turning Point", was generally received better than his debut and went platinum. He was acting in a movie called "Step up" story about artschool students 2006. He was Miles, one of the students. ____________________________________________________ The second one is a folk/indie mexican singer, hailing from Culiacán, Sinaloa, and whose debut, How to make independent friends, released by the well-respected mexican indie label Happy-fi records was an instant independent hit in his country. His real name is Mario López (no relation to the actor of the same name) and he currently plays keyboards in mexican alternative band Niña.2009-01-09 Michael Todd
